This role can be offered on a hybrid basis working a minimum of 2 days a week from our office in Croxley Park, Watford.
The role:

- You'll lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary in-house creative team, partner closely with senior stakeholders across marketing, ecommerce, VM, buying and merchandising, and collaborate with external agencies and suppliers to deliver work that is distinctive, effective and unmistakably on-brand.
- This is a hands-on leadership role, blending strategic vision with a sharp creative eye and the confidence to make decisions in a fast-moving retail environment.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Defining and delivering compelling creative visions for H. Samuel and Ernest Jones, flexing confidently between two very different brand personalities.
- Leading creative development across all channels - digital, social, email, in-store, windows, campaigns, packaging and brand environments.
- Championing a customer-first, digital- and social-led approach to storytelling and design.
- Partnering with senior business leaders to ensure creative work supports commercial objectives while strengthening brand equity.
- Managing, mentoring and developing a talented in-house creative team, fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity and creative excellence.
- Building strong relationships with external creative, production and photography partners, including supplier-led imagery.
- Driving innovation, efficiency and scalability within the creative function, including the smart use of AI tools.
- Ensuring all creative delivery is on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard.
What we're looking for:
- A proven creative leader with a strong track record delivering standout brand identity and campaigns across digital and physical retail environments.
- Experience within multi-channel retail, fashion or consumer brands.
- Exceptional visual storytelling instincts, design sensibility and understanding of customer behaviour.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance long-term brand building with short-term trading needs.
- Inspiring people leadership skills - you know how to attract, motivate and grow creative talent.
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and presenting creative ideas with clarity and impact.
- Experience managing budgets and agency relationships.
- The agility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and flex seamlessly between brands with different audiences and ambitions.
