As Digital Trading Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping how customers experience our brand online. Reporting to the Head of Ecommerce Trading, you'll own the commercial performance of the H. Samuel website, driving growth in revenue, conversion and customer engagement through a customer-first, data-led trading strategy. This is an opportunity to lead the trading direction of one of the UK's best-known jewellery brands, combining commercial leadership, strategic thinking and operational excellence. You'll work across Ecommerce, Marketing, Merchandising, Analytics, Finance and Technology to deliver exceptional customer experiences and achieve ambitious growth targets. You'll have the autonomy to shape strategy, influence key decisions and play a significant role in accelerating H. Samuel's digital growth journey, while helping millions of customers celebrate life's most meaningful moments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the commercial performance of the H. Samuel website, delivering against revenue, conversion and profitability targets.
- Defining and delivering the digital trading strategy, ensuring it supports both immediate commercial objectives and long-term business growth.
- Leading the trading calendar, bringing key campaigns, promotional events and seasonal moments to life online.
- Using data, insight and customer behaviour to identify opportunities, optimise performance and improve decision-making.
- Championing continuous improvement of the customer journey through testing, personalisation and conversion optimisation.
- Leading onsite merchandising, navigation, search and product presentation to maximise customer engagement and sales performance.
- Building strong partnerships across Marketing, Merchandising, Technology, Finance and Customer Experience teams to deliver aligned commercial outcomes.
- Providing insight, recommendations and performance updates to senior stakeholders, helping shape future trading priorities and investment decisions.
- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing Digital Trading team.

- A strong track record of delivering revenue growth and commercial performance through digital channels.

- Experience using tools such as Adobe Analytics, Contentsquare and advanced Excel to drive decisions and performance.
- Expertise in customer journey optimisation, testing and conversion improvement.
