Here at Signet Jewelers, owners of UK retail jewellery brands Ernest Jones and H. Samuel, we have an opportunity to join our Merchandising team as a Merchandising Assistant (Internally known as Allocator) within our Diamond category.

As a key part of the Merchandising team, Allocators play a crucial role within our business. You will be monitoring stock levels, intake and distribution and provide efficient reporting and administrative support to the merchandising team, ensuring that lines are always stocked, allowing our customers the widest choice available. By supporting the Merchandising team, youll help to deliver maximum sales and profit through effective planning, forecasting and stock management.

Youll liaise regularly with suppliers to ensure that orders are placed, and deliveries are made according to agreed timescales, produce accurate and regular inventory information and ensure that our information databases are kept up to date. You will also produce analysis reports, with the aim of improving overall performance.

About You

The role of Allocator is an analytical and numerical role suited to someone with a degree that involved maths, statistics, or quantitative modules. Any prior experience with Excel is a bonus!

You will also have:

  • Strong organisational skills, with a proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Good eye for detail.
  • Strong numerical and proven analytical skills.
