We have a temporary maternity cover to join our H. Samuel Diamonds category as an Assistant Buyer until November 2025. If you are currently an Assistant Buyer or a Buyers Administrator who is taking on Assistant Buyer responsibilities and managing a team we would like to hear from you.
As an Assistant Buyer you will work in support of our Buyers in sourcing, constructing and analysing ranges to maximise sales and gross profit. This is a busy and varied role and would suit someone eager to join a dynamic, retail environment. As Assistant Buyer you’ll contribute to departmental strategy; prepare analysis for range plan and source, develop and select products in line with the buying strategy. You’ll also attend supplier meetings with the Buyer and will play an integral part in building and maintaining strong and effective supplier relationships. You will play a part in coaching our buyer administrators and share your skills and experience to help build our future talent.

- Experience as a Buyers Administrator who is ready for the next step level within a luxury and/or branded retail environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent relationship management skills.
- Excellent MS Excel skills.
- Experience of supplier negotiation.
