Great opportunity to join our Logistics Inventory team!
We are recruiting for a unique opportunity within our Birmingham Store Support Centre, part of our Logistics team.
As an Inventory Management Administrator (also known as Clerk), you’ll perform activities related to the receipt, movement, and validation of inventory for all products within the Distribution Centre. Reporting to the Supervisor, you’ll handle stock movements and adjustments to ensure the smooth flow of stock throughout the warehouse.
Typical duties include:
- Counting products and accurately recording inventory levels, including jewellery, watches, and gifts.
- Conducting annual compliance checks and store counts in line with business requirements.
- Reviewing and determining solutions for stock movements through the supply chain.
- Recording stock movements precisely in the Warehouse Management System, including adjustments and data logging for analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies related to inventory management, supporting the Inventory Management Supervisor to deliver operational service levels, reduce losses, and improve logistics accuracy.
Working hours:
Typical hours are 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8:30am to 4pm on Friday. You will work 1 in 3 lates: 12 noon to 8pm, Monday to Thursday, and Friday, or 12:30pm to 8pm.
About you:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel for reporting and data management.
- Demonstrates coaching behaviors such as respect, guidance, support, and role modeling to promote team improvement.
- Quick learner with the ability to acquire technical skills and resolve problems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Effective planning and workload management skills.
- Good numerical and analytical abilities.
- Experience in Logistics or Retail sectors is desirable.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management or inventory systems is advantageous.
