We are looking for a driven, talented individual who will have an influential leadership role in driving a growing team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences. Our hotel overlooks the beautiful Rutland landscape with a picturesque courtyard, with a kitchen brigade providing fine dining using many ingredients sourced from the wealth of fine produce found in the locality. Encircled by idyllic surroundings on the north shore of Rutland Water, the hotel is a tranquil rural haven, close to the charming market towns of Oakham and Uppingham.

You will be:

  • Committed to outstanding service and have natural hosting skills.
  • An inspirational leader who is able to coach your team, in partnership with our Group Learning & Development Manager.
  • Deliver an exceptional guest experience across all outlets at our hotel, including our Weddings and Events venue.
  • Approachable and passionate with an enthusiastic, positive manner.
  • Able to lead F&B meetings and briefings, plan ahead and create effective strategies.
  • Ensure company standards are consistently delivered and HODs deliver the relevant training to our team members.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop the Food and Beverage team.
  • Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and SOPs.
  • Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.

You will have:

  • A natural ability to deliver impeccable guest experience.
  • 2-3 years' managerial experience in a premium hotel or restaurant environment.
  • A desire to be your best, and advance your career with a growing hotel group.
  • A real passion for food & wine and service standards of excellence.
  • An eye for attention to detail.
  • Business acumen to help drive revenue growth.
  • The ability to convert turnover into profit by reaching set KPIs.
