Banking & Finance Solicitor
Location: Belfast (Hybrid)
We are supporting a leading law practice in Belfast in its search for a Banking & Finance Solicitor ready to develop their career working on substantial and complex finance transactions.
About the role
You will join a highly regarded banking team advising international lenders, corporate borrowers, sponsors and funds across a diverse range of mandates. In this role you will handle a broad spectrum of finance work including corporate and acquisition lending, development and real‑estate finance, project and energy transition finance, direct lending, loan portfolio sales and structured finance. You’ll move beyond routine work and gain exposure to high‑value deals and market‑leading clients.
You will work in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment where ambition, enthusiasm and an appetite to learn matter. Whether you are newly qualified or have a few years’ PQE, you will be working with senior colleagues on meaningful matters, shaping your future career path.
What you will bring
- Qualified solicitor (or soon to be admitted) comfortable with finance documentation and transactions, with strong drafting, negotiation and client‑facing skills.
- Understanding of commercial finance, customer‑awareness and team orientation, delivering for high‑profile clients.
- Experience in lending, security or structured finance (advantageous).
Location & package
This is a Belfast‑based role (or within reasonable commuting distance) offered on a hybrid basis. A competitive salary will be offered, aligned with experience and the high‑calibre nature of the work. For NQ level salary will not be less than £32,000. Salary negotiable for more experienced PQE.
