Conveyancing Director – Belfast/Antrim | £55,000–£65,000 | Full-time or Part-time

Signatus are recruiting a Full time or Part time conveyancing solicitor to join a highly reputable and well established solicitors practice based in either its Belfast or Antrim offices. This is a role that will form part of the natural succession plan of the firm as one of its senior solicitors begin retirement planning.

As such, you will have dedicated support of a senior solicitor and dedicated legal secretarial support to guide you in the first few months of client and case familiarisation.

The majority of the workload (90-95%) is residential conveyancing focused with some general commercial matters on occasion.

The role will suit either a seasoned conveyancing solicitor with experience handling residential conveyancing files through to completion or a seasoned practitioner who is looking to step into a senior role within a firm and ultimately run the property department in a short space of time.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion with support from the outgoing solicitor throughout the first 12+ months.
  • Advise clients on all stages of the property transaction process
  • Draft and review contracts, title documents, leases, and deeds
  • Conduct title checks and coordinate with estate agents, mortgage providers, and opposing solicitors
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
  • Resolve issues or disputes that may arise during transactions
  • Maintain accurate, detailed records of all matters handled
