Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor
Fully Remote | High‑Value Casework | Leading PI Practice
Signatus are retained to find an exceptional Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor for a forward‑thinking claimant‑based legal practice that operates remotely across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland and delivers standout client services.
This is a superb opportunity for a seasoned plaintiff‑side clinical negligence solicitor to step into a role where you will own your caseload, drive high‑impact outcomes, and take responsibility for complex claims from first instructions right through to trial.
Our client is committed to delivering compassionate, tenacious legal support to people who have suffered life‑changing clinical errors — from surgical mistakes and complications to misdiagnoses and delayed cancer detection. If you combine technical excellence with empathy, this role gives you the platform to make a real difference while advancing your career.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior Clinical Negligence Solicitor, you will lead and manage a busy and stimulating caseload of high‑value clinical negligence matters. Your work will centre around representing plaintiff clients through every stage of the litigation lifecycle — from initial instruction and strategic case planning to settlement negotiations and courtroom advocacy.
You’ll be trusted to apply your technical knowledge of clinical negligence law and civil procedure, making strategic decisions that evolve cases and achieve positive client outcomes. Alongside this, you’ll build lasting relationships with clients who need not just legal expertise but clarity, reassurance and support during challenging times.
Team collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with the wider Clinical Negligence team to support client service excellence and contribute to the ongoing growth of the practice.
Who We’re Looking For
Our ideal candidate is an experienced clinical negligence litigator who thrives in both independent and collaborative working environments. You bring:
- Ideally 5+ years’ experience representing plaintiff clients in clinical negligence claims.
- Must be NI or ROI qualified solicitor to be considered.
You will be someone who relishes responsibility, is passionate about client care, and is ready to contribute to the success of a supportive and ambitious legal team.
Why This Role Matters
This isn’t a typical solicitor post — you will be empowered to shape your caseload, influence client journeys and work in an environment where your clinical negligence expertise is genuinely valued.
The role brings
- Meaningful, high‑impact legal work helping individuals affected by serious medical negligence.
- Autonomy to manage cases end‑to‑end with strong peer support.
- A professional culture that respects work‑life balance and remote working.
- The opportunity to grow with a firm committed to excellence and client care.
