Signatus are partnering with a specialist claimant litigation practice to recruit a Personal Injury Solicitor for its growing Newry office.
This is a unique opportunity to join a highly regarded personal injury team handling a broad range of Personal Injury, Road Traffic Accident, Credit Hire and Civil Litigation matters. The successful solicitor will manage Northern Ireland claims while receiving full training and support to develop expertise in Republic of Ireland litigation. No Republic of Ireland experience is required.
This opportunity will particularly appeal to solicitors who want to build a long term career in claimant litigation, cross border litigation and personal injury law while working within a supportive and specialist legal environment.
- Manage a varied caseload of Personal Injury, Road Traffic Accident and Civil Litigation files
- Handle claimant Personal Injury claims from initial instruction through to settlement or hearing
- Develop expertise in both Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland Personal Injury litigation
- Build trusted relationships with clients, counsel, insurers, medical professionals and expert witnesses
- Become a recognised specialist in cross border Personal Injury litigation within your first 12 months
Qualifications:
- Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland or ROI
- Experience managing Personal Injury, Civil Litigation or Road Traffic Accident claims
- Excellent written advocacy and communication skills
- Ability to commute regularly to the Newry office
- Credit Hire claims experience
- Defendant insurance litigation experience
- Cross border litigation exposure
- Experience handling high volume RTA claims
- Knowledge of Republic of Ireland legal procedures
Full training provided on Republic of Ireland Personal Injury litigation whilst continuing with a NI based claims caseload. Opportunity to become a dual jurisdiction Personal Injury Solicitor.
