We are representing an established solicitors practice in Belfast who specialise in Plaintiff litigation and credit hire cases. Due to extremely fast growth over the past two years and owing to a successful referral network, the company are looking to bring in another personal injury solicitor with litigation experience and ideally with a knowledge of handling credit hire cases.
Full training on processes and systems will be provided and you will work alongside one of the most experienced credit hire/PI solicitors in the province. With a fantastic starting salary, lucrative bonus scheme and incentivised workload, together with hybrid working or 4 day work week, this is an opportunity to propel your career in a lucrative direction from an early stage.
You will join a small/medium-sized specialist team of litigators who have developed a reputable and efficient practice over the years. You will ideally have some experience in credit hire matters either as a paralegal or PQE as a solicitor but this is not essential. Having a practical working knowledge of all stages of the litigation lifecycle however is important.
You will enjoy a challenging and varied caseload consisting of both county and high court matters and will also support the most senior PI solicitor in their day to day caseload and court schedule management. Once fully trained, you will work with more autonomy but collaboratively with the Senior solicitor in settling and running your own case files.
You will be given access to specialist technology software to manage your caseload effectively and ease the administrative burdens of carrying out your duties as a Personal injury solicitor.
What you will need to be successful?
- A qualified solicitor in either NI/ROI/UK
- At least some experience as a paralegal or ideally PQE as a solicitor handling personal injury cases.
- Ideally strong Plaintiff experience; however, a mix of Plaintiff and defendant experience will be considered also.
- Experience using Proclaim case management system or LEAP or other CMS is desirable.
