Paralegal / Legal Secretary – Wills & Probate – Ards/Bangor – £25,000-£30,000
Signatus is recruiting a Paralegal / Legal Secretary with ideally between 1-3 years of experience to join a growing solicitors\’ practice with offices in Ards and Bangor. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, providing key support to a dedicated Senior Wills & probate solicitor within the firm. While primarily based in Ards, occasional client visits with the solicitor may be required. Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid work options, can all be discussed. This role will focus on supporting the legal team with wills, probate, and possibly other general property or general legal matters. Experience in conveyancing is not essential but would be possibly be advantageous. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service delivery for the firm\\\’s clients through your organisation skills and ability to prioritise workstreams.
Typical Responsibilities
- Assisting solicitors with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including wills, probate forms, and general legal correspondence.
- Managing client files and maintaining accurate records using case management systems.
- Conducting legal research to support the preparation of cases and client advice.
- Handling client communications, including taking instructions and providing updates.
- Preparing bundles and documentation for court and client meetings.
- Coordinating with other stakeholders, such as banks, registrars, and estate representatives.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
- Performing internet search and database searches
