Signatus are partnering with an ambitious and growing firm of solicitors based in Derry with offices across the jurisdiction. We are recruiting a newly qualified solicitor (2023 or 2024) into the expanding property and private client team spearheaded by a highly regarded Director in the industry. As the firm has completed one stage of a growth expansion plan, it is a great time to come on board as the firm will continue to expand over the next 12-24 months. There are clear pathways of progression available as well as a bonus and incentive plan in place. We are open to considering greater PQE levels (including senior solicitors who can demonstrate relevant experience in private client or property-based work).
Joining the firm as a newly qualified solicitor in the property and private client team, you will work on a breadth of cases spanning residential and commercial conveyancing (north and south), probate, and administration of estates work, as well as generally advising private clients and HNW's. You will work alongside the Director of Property and provide direct assistance on large or complex transactions. You will be exposed to a high calibre of work owing to the firm's excellent client network and will gain experience of multi-jurisdictional transactions within property and probate fields.
There is a fantastic starting salary of c£27,000 available (average NQ in Derry c£25,000) as well as a range of benefits to include 34 days holidays, pension contributions, healthcare, and hybrid working.
The ideal newly qualified solicitor will have a passion for private client and property work and will have considered this an area they want to build a career in. Experience within your training firm of assisting property transactions or administration of estates is highly desirable. Carriage of your own caseload of residential property matters is highly advantageous. Full mentorship and training are provided, however.
