Are you an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor ready to lead your own desk in a well-established local law firm? Our client is a respected, multi-practice solicitors firm based in Derry, known for high-quality client service and a supportive working environment. As the sole conveyancer in the practice, you'll enjoy autonomy in your work, with the backing of dedicated legal secretarial support. Ideally 5+ years PQE, but strong junior solicitors will also be considered as will more senior practitioners.
What You'll Do
- Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
- Advise clients on all stages of the property transaction process
- Draft and review contracts, title documents, leases, and deeds
- Conduct title checks and coordinate with estate agents, mortgage providers, and opposing solicitors
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Resolve issues or disputes that may arise during transactions
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all matters handled
