About the Opportunity: Signatus is exclusively partnering with a pioneering alternative legal services provider to appoint a new Legal Director. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and refine legal secondment services into comprehensive managed legal solutions.
  • Act as the primary strategic advisor during the client engagement lifecycle, ensuring legal services are bespoke, scalable, and aligned to business outcomes.
  • Manage the seamless deployment and oversight of legal secondees, providing strategic direction and expert escalation support.
  • Cultivate trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, bridging commercial strategy and legal execution.
  • Collaborate closely with the talent management team to identify and develop consultant capabilities, influencing strategic recruitment to align with business needs.

Your Profile:

  • Essential: Prior experience within ALSP, LMS, or LegalTech companies environment.
  • Qualified legal professional with 8+ years’ experience, ideally with substantial in-house counsel background in technology-driven sectors.
  • Demonstrated track record in aligning legal service models with strategic commercial objectives.
  • Proven ability to manage complex legal engagements, transforming them into scalable solutions.
  • Highly adept at stakeholder management with proven comfort in engaging and influencing senior legal and business leaders.
