Signatus are working with a major law firm to recruit aspiring corporate solicitors into their fastest growing and most successful team in Belfast. This is an opportunity to grow and develop your corporate skillsets under the guidance of chambers recognised partners where you will be trained in all aspects of corporate M&A transactional and advisory work.
The firm are interested in interviewing solicitors from any jurisdiction (UK/NI/Ireland) who believe they have a passion or long term interest in developing a career as a corporate solicitor. They are happy to speak to all levels of solicitors ranging from NQ with a foundation seat in corporate commercial work to more experienced Associate or Senior Associate levels from other disciplines who have maybe touched on some corporate work within their practice areas.
WHY? The firm are growing their Corporate team as a result of exceptional client feedback and increasing client demand both locally and internationally. Given the demand within the sector currently and the shortage of qualified solicitors within private practice, we are open to considering candidates from either private practice or in house sectors. Particularly appealing are perhaps those from an Alternative legal services background who have maybe moved away from private practice previously but who would consider a return to the right firm under the right circumstances.
WHAT? This role is a direct client facing one where you will be provided with all the knowledge, tools and guidance to deliver outstanding legal results for your clients. The firm has a global footprint and provides their solicitors with UK and cross-jurisdictional cases (that they run themselves). But they have also been involved in some of the biggest corporate transactions and ventures at a local level too and are well known in the market for their expertise.
This is an opportunity to grow and develop a new career path within a small but growing team where there will be zero obstacles to progression, only encouragement and guidance to succeed.
In addition to a top of the market salary for your PQE level, there are a range of added company benefits such as a pension scheme, cycle to work, medical and health insurance and an additional holiday purchase scheme that you can avail of.
WHEN to apply? Send your CV immediately to our Principal Legal Consultant Fionntán Gamble or call the number on the Signatus website to hear more information directly and in confidence.
