Overview

A private office supporting a fast-growing technology entrepreneur is seeking an Operations Manager to work closely alongside the Operations Director and wider team. This is a varied and fast-paced role requiring exceptional organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. The successful candidate will support day-to-day business operations, project management, travel coordination, events, VIP guest relations, and administrative tasks. The role will also involve assisting with the principal’s business activities and ensuring smooth execution across all operational areas. This position would suit someone commercially minded, tech-savvy, and highly proactive, who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys operating at a high standard.

Duties included but not limited to:

  • Supporting the Operations Director with day-to-day business operations
  • Attending meetings and managing follow-up actions
  • Managing projects, timelines, and operational tasks
  • Diary and travel coordination, including last-minute changes
  • Managing invoices, payments, and financial administration
  • Liaising with accountants, lawyers, suppliers, and external partners
  • Supporting events, special projects, and VIP guest experiences
  • Coordinating branded merchandise production and logistics
  • Managing office operations, meeting rooms, and guest coordination
  • Supporting with occasional personal and household administration
  • International travel support and occasional overseas travel

Key Criteria

  • Previous experience in operations, administration, events, or support roles
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality

The role will involve occasional international travel, including trips to the US, usually for short periods with some longer trips throughout the year.
