Our client is searching for a Housekeeper/Nanny to take care of their home and 17-month-old son.

  • Working hours: Monday – Friday, generally 9:30 am – 6:30 pm, occasional babysitting
  • Salary: £55,000 gross per annum

Overview

You will work alongside the child's father who is the main carer for the little one and will take care of most of his routine. Your responsibility will fall mainly with housekeeping (around 60% of the day) and childcare from time to time when Dad is busy (about 40% of the time). From October 2026, he will begin attending nursery for half days, which will allow greater focus on household responsibilities while still ensuring that he is supported in a new routine. In addition, the role includes preparing simple family style meals for the family, menus for the week will be planned together. The family also has a friendly dog, so the candidate should be comfortable around animals and happy to incorporate light pet care into the day. The successful candidate may be invited to accompany the family on summer trips, should they wish to do so.

Duties included but not limited to

  • All traditional housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping and polishing
  • Family laundry, including bed linens and ironing
  • Cooking family style evening meals
  • Running errands like grocery shopping and dry-cleaning runs
  • Assisting with childcare from time to time
