We are seeking an experienced and hard-working housekeeper for a very large and newly renovated property based in Mayfair, London. The home acts as a private hotel for multiple families in the Middle East to use when they travel, therefore it is imperative that the housekeeper has the capability to adapt to changing schedules and working hours.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Traditional housekeeping duties such as cleaning, mopping, dusting, vacuuming and polishing
- Tidying and organising the home to a very high standard
- Looking after antiques and expensive furnishings
- Changing bed linen and making beds
- Stock checks and liaising with the butler as necessary
- All laundry care including dealing with delicates
- Light cooking if required
It is important that the candidate is pre-emptive and ensures the home is always prepared for the family and their guests. This being said, the demand of the role will fluctuate throughout the year. The ideal candidate will be proactive and happy to put a hand to anything. You must have previous experience working for UHNW clients.
Please note you are unable to take holidays in July, August and September as these are the busiest months with the client in residence.
Start: ASAP
Location: Mayfair, London
Hours: 40 hours per week (depending on guest residency)
Salary: Up to £42,000 gross per annum
