Are you a dedicated, passionate and motivated individual with experience of working with children? We are currently looking for experienced Sports Coaches and Mentors to join our brilliant team.
About us:
Signature Sports Coaching is a reputable and established sports coaching company based in Bristol and South Gloucestershire, currently working in over 40 primary and secondary schools. Over the last 11 years, we have impacted the lives of thousands of children. Our aim is to continue to have a positive influence on more young lives through our services.
Your qualities:
- At least 1 year’s coaching or teaching experience within a school setting.
- A valid DBS certificate issued within the last 3 years to work in schools.
- A full driver's license.
- A passion for sports and helping others.
The successful applicant will be able to cover a range of sessions including PE lessons, mentoring, lunchtime clubs and after school clubs. They will also help bring the excitement at our sports Fundays during the school holidays.
Working at Signature:
- Part-time and full-time hours available.
- Working hours during school time (Monday - Friday: 8.45am - 4.30pm).
- Work available during the school holidays at our Signature Fundays.
- Work across a range of schools to help support and engage different pupils.
- In-house training to all successful applicants.
- Pay between £17.50 - £19.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging PE lessons, focusing on skill development and teamwork.
- Teach fundamental sports techniques, safety and rules while promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
- Deliver safe and nurturing mentoring sessions to support pupils in schools.
- Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their performance.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate sports into the school curriculum.
