Purchasing Assistant
We’re looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join Signature Senior Lifestyle and provide administrative support to our Procurement Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build a career in procurement within a growing organisation.
Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the Procurement Team.
- Maintaining accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Coordinating supplier communications and responding to routine enquiries.
- Assisting with purchase orders and supplier information.
- Supporting the efficient administration of procurement processes.
- Helping to ensure procurement documentation is accurate, up to date and compliant.
Qualifications
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- An interest in procurement and supply chain management.
- Working towards, or interested in studying for, a CIPS qualification would be an advantage, although this is not essential.
