Responsibilities include working across a range of departments such as Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Wellbeing & Lifestyle. Hospitality Assistants will provide first-class service to help deliver exceptional experiences for residents and go the extra mile. Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.
- In Housekeeping: Apply high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness to residents’ homes and communal living spaces, ensuring they are spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Work in laundry, keeping residents’ clothing and the home’s laundry clean.
- In Food & Beverage: Welcome residents, explain menu choices concisely, serve food from the kitchen, and keep the dining room spotless. Reset tables, tidy work areas, and prepare food service areas for the next service.
- Assist in organising and delivering individual and group activities, and participate in key events throughout the year, such as the summer fete. Support activities outside the home, including shopping, attending GP appointments, and outings.
Personal Attributes: We value humility, kindness, and compassion. Ideal candidates are positive, resilient, proactive, organised, honest, accountable, passionate, and eager to develop. Effective communication skills and a working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation are preferred, along with cleaning experience in a similar environment and food-service experience.
