Your role at Signature involves ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents, which is paramount. Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Maintaining the physical surroundings of the home to meet regulations.
- Monitoring on-site contractors and service contracts alongside the General Manager.
- Controlling departmental costs while maintaining high standards.
- Ordering and using equipment efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Developing an economical stock and spares control system.
- Managing budgets and preparing monthly forecasts with the General Manager.
- Helping develop a site emergency contingency plan for utilities.
- Overseeing lighting, PAT Testing, and regular maintenance of ventilation units and lights.
- Monitoring water temperature control systems.
- Conducting mandatory staff training for Fire Prevention & Evacuation and Health and Safety processes.
- Testing fire alarms and carrying out drills.
