Do you wish to bring your passion, flair and experience to a hands-on role supporting the Hospitality Manager ‘front of house’, serving our residents and their visitors the excellent food our chefs produce as a Food and Beverage Supervisor, at our luxury care and nursing home in Hornchurch.
Your role at Signature involves focusing on choice, dignity, confidentiality and safety, while ensuring that every mealtime is an outstanding dining experience. You’ll work closely with the Hospitality Manager to manage stock control efficiently, and liaise with the senior kitchen team to provide imaginative and interesting themes for special events; all our festive meals, parties, al fresco dining, buffets and social events such as birthdays and welcome parties. Your role will also support dining operations or food & beverage service in other areas such as the Private dining room, Café, Sky Lounge Bistro or special events as applicable to the home where you are applying.
You’ll also ensure diners’ hydration and nourishment are delivered in a consistent and cost-effective way, within all Health and Safety rules, and that staff are suitably trained and deployed. Importantly, you will strive to make diners’ experience the best it can be, while recognising residents’ health requirements and maintaining a happy, healthy dining room. This role will require a hands-on approach.
Responsibilities will vary on each shift depending on which department you are supporting.
What Signature Offer:
- Full Time: 37.5 hours per week
- Shift Times: 08.00 - 16.00 and 12.00 - 19.30
- Flexible for alternate weekends
- Up to 30 days annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays, depending on length of service
