Signature Recruitment is proud to be working once again with a leading London university to recruit an Undergraduate Programmes Administrator for a 7-month full-time contract starting immediately.

This is a regular annual role we support, and one that plays a key part in the university’s academic calendar. It offers a hybrid working model – 3 days in the office and 2 from home – on a Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) basis. Some peak periods throughout the contract will require full-time on-site presence, including a Saturday. These dates will be clearly explained during the interview and onboarding process.

As part of a collaborative academic team, you’ll support the admissions process and student engagement throughout the academic cycle. This will include UCAS application processing, Welcome Week, and exam period operations. You’ll be expected to hit the ground running, bringing energy, precision, and a proactive approach to this dynamic and rewarding role.

Undergraduate Programmes Administrator Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and score undergraduate UCAS applications based on departmental criteria and academic records
  • Liaise with applicants, referees, and Central Admissions to coordinate supporting documentation and respond to enquiries
  • Organise and deliver offer-holder and open day events, including managing invitations, logistics, and student helpers
  • Act as the first point of contact for queries to the Undergraduate Office from students, staff, and visitors
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of undergraduate exams, including managing materials and invigilators
  • Maintain and update student records across university systems with accuracy and confidentiality

Undergraduate Programmes Administrator Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in undergraduate admissions or programme administration within higher education
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage a high-volume, time-sensitive workload
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence interacting across teams and with prospective students
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to prioritise tasks in a pressurised academic environment

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a respected London institution and contribute meaningfully to the student experience. You’ll gain exposure to the full admissions cycle, event planning, and academic administration, all within a supportive and well-established team. If you’re experienced in undergraduate programme support or UCAS admissions and ready to take on a busy, rewarding role — apply today!

While we aim to respond to every applicant, the volume of applications may result in delayed communication. If you do not receive a response within a week, your application may not have been successful on this occasion. However, we will keep your details for potential future opportunities.
