Signature Recruitment is working with our client, a renowned organisation in the Higher Education sector, to find a Student Events Coordinator to support a busy period of student engagement.

This is a temporary role for six to eight weeks paid at £18.72 per hour plus holiday pay. It is a full-time position of 35 hours per week, with hybrid working. You will normally spend three days each week on campus, with the week of "Welcome" requiring full-time campus attendance. The role is all about helping students feel welcomed and supported. You will assist with events, recruitment activities, and day-to-day administration, working closely with the Student Experience team to ensure a smooth start to term. You’ll gain valuable Higher Education experience, build your event coordination skills, and be part of a supportive team during one of the busiest and most rewarding points in the academic calendar.

Student Events Coordinator Key Responsibilities:

  • Support delivery of student-facing events across multiple campuses
  • Set up rooms, event packs, and presentations
  • Respond to event queries via shared inboxes
  • Assist with student engagement and recruitment activities
  • Liaise confidently with students and colleagues
  • Provide administrative and logistical coordination as required

Student Events Coordinator Key Skills:

  • Previous Higher Education administration experience (essential, ideally student-facing)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Flexible, proactive, and confident working on campus

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced Higher Education environment, supporting students at one of the busiest points in the academic year. If you are proactive, organised, and available from 1st September, we would love to hear from you.

While we aim to respond to every applicant, the volume of applications may result in delayed communication. If you do not receive a response within a week, your application may not have been successful on this occasion. However, we will keep your details for potential future opportunities.
