Confident managing student records and data? Skilled in academic admin and ready to step into a high-volume role during a peak period? If you’re accurate, proactive, and great with systems, this could be a fantastic short-term opportunity. Signature Recruitment is working with a respected Central London institution to recruit a Senior Student Records Officer for a busy, student-facing academic team.
This full-time post is initially office-based, with hybrid flexibility once onboarding is complete. You’ll play a vital role in managing postgraduate student records, supporting casework processes, and helping prepare for the start of a new academic year.
Senior Student Records Officer Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of student changes (enrolment, status, examination, awards) using internal data systems
- Support postgraduate student casework and process absence and status change requests
- Coordinate thesis submission records and examination tracking
- Process examiner fees and expense claims
- Assist with official documentation, including transcripts and certificates
- Provide on-campus support for students and colleagues as part of a rotating schedule
Senior Student Records Officer Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience using student records systems (e.g. SITS) to manage academic data
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Background in academic or student administration
- Ability to grasp complex procedures, follow up on actions, and hit the ground running
