Job Description

Can you juggle a busy inbox, complex applications, and deadlines without breaking a sweat? Do you have experience in postgraduate admissions? Signature Recruitment is seeking a Postgraduate Admissions Officer to support a busy admissions team at a respected London university. This is a key role during a peak processing period, with a focus on selecting and converting high-calibre postgraduate and MBA students from the UK and overseas. In this role you will enjoy a balanced hybrid setup, working three days a week with Wednesdays as your anchor day – and two days from home. This gives you the buzz of face-to-face collaboration alongside the focus and flexibility of remote working.

As a Postgraduate Admissions Officer you’ll liaise with applicants, assess academic qualifications, chase missing documents, and support the selection committee in making timely, informed decisions. Alongside application processing, you’ll respond to enquiries, manage data in CRM systems, and help deliver a smooth and professional admissions experience from start to finish.

Postgraduate Admissions Officer Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process applications, assessing domestic and international qualifications for eligibility.
  • Support postgraduate and MBA selection, making recommendations in line with criteria and cohort targets.
  • Manage applicant communications, responding to pre-application queries and chasing documentation.
  • Work with CRM systems to update and track application data.
  • Analyse application metrics and provide reports to inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met.

Postgraduate Admissions Officer Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven postgraduate admissions experience (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of higher education admissions and registry processes.
  • Ability to interpret UK and international qualifications confidently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing admissions team and make a tangible impact on the student journey. If you have the expertise and are ready to start immediately, we’d love to hear from you.

While we aim to respond to every applicant, the volume of applications may result in delayed communication. If you do not receive a response within a week, your application may not have been successful on this occasion. However, we will keep your details for potential future opportunities.

Please be aware that Signature Recruitment will never reach out to candidates through WhatsApp, nor will we request sensitive information like bank details, passport, or driving licence data during the application process. For a secure job search and reliable flexible work, we advise consulting Jobs Aware who ensure all workers and work-seekers in the UK have access to free help and advice, as well as provide an option to report a scam or exploitation.
