Signature Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a Programme Administrator to join a London based higher education institution. This is a full-time temporary role for 7 months, offering £20.00 per hour plus holiday pay, with hybrid working.
This role sits at the centre of a busy postgraduate programme. You will support students, academics and colleagues to keep the academic year running smoothly. From welcoming new students to coordinating assessments and events, your work will help shape a positive student experience. It is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in higher education while building strong administrative and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as the main point of contact for students, offering friendly support in person, by email and online
- Manage the shared programme inbox and ensure queries receive clear and timely responses
- Coordinate assessment submissions, marksheets and results, ensuring records remain accurate
- Support programme activities across the academic cycle, including inductions and end-of-year processes
- Assist with organising student events, briefings and programme communications
- Maintain accurate student records and update information on internal systems and learning platforms
- Experience working in a busy administrative environment, ideally within higher education
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and working with databases or student systems
