This is a temporary Credit Controller role for 4 to 6 weeks, starting immediately and offering hybrid working with Monday and Friday based on campus. This position is for 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with an hourly rate of £17.10 per hour, plus holiday pay.
This work suits someone with credit control, sales ledger, accounts receivable, or finance administration experience. Within a day, you will chase payments, review aged debt, update spreadsheets, and record clear notes. Key Responsibilities:- Handle phone calls and email queries in a professional and helpful way
- Chase outstanding payments by phone and email, including reminder communications
- Update spreadsheets, reports, ledgers, and finance records with accurate data
- Review aged debt, credit balances, and overdue items across finance ledgers
- Support invoice, credit note, refund, and cash allocation processes
- Record updates on finance systems and complete general administration tasks
- Experience in credit control, sales ledger, accounts receivable, or finance administration
- Good Excel skills, including spreadsheets and simple formulae
- Clear communication skills and a friendly, resilient phone manner
- Strong attention to detail and confidence managing high-volume tasks
