Signature Recruitment is recruiting for a Course Administrator to join a London-based higher education institution during a key delivery period.
This is a 6-month temporary role offering £23.52 per hour, with hybrid working in London and an immediate start available. You will typically work a blend of office and home-based days, with increased on-site presence during peak academic periods. This is a 35-hour week, usually 9:00am–5:00pm, and holiday pay is included.
You will join a collaborative programmes team within a well-regarded London institution delivering global academic programmes. This is a standalone role where you will take ownership of building and preparing course content within the virtual learning environment, ensuring everything is accurate, functional, and ready for student use ahead of key deadlines. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience managing full course builds, working directly with academics, and developing your expertise across leading platforms such as Moodle and Canvas. You will play a key role in ensuring courses are ready for delivery to a global student cohort, making a direct impact on the student experience.
Course Administrator - Key Responsibilities:- Build and manage course content within Moodle and similar platforms such as Canvas
- Quality check, format, and upload materials to ensure a consistent student experience
- Test and troubleshoot courses, resolving technical and display issues
- Maintain and update VLE content, ensuring accuracy across all modules
- Collaborate with academics to deliver course content to agreed deadlines
- Prioritise and manage multiple course builds during peak delivery periods
- Experience using Moodle or similar VLE platforms
