Signature Recruitment are partnering with a highly regarded London university to recruit three on-campus, full-time Student Course Officers. These are 3-month positions with strong potential to extend into a longer-term maternity leave contract.

As a Student Course Officer, you’ll be part of a central support team delivering excellent service to students and academic staff. You’ll coordinate admin tasks, manage records, and ensure processes run smoothly. This role is fast-paced, varied, and central to keeping academic operations on track. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who’s proactive, reliable and looking to grow in the higher education sector. You’ll work closely with academic teams and professional services, gaining experience in student support, systems, and university operations.

Student Course Officer Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for queries from students and staff
  • Manage and update records, including attendance, group allocations and module choices
  • Support assessments, exams, and academic documentation coordination
  • Maintain course content and communications through virtual learning platforms
  • Help plan and deliver meetings, events, and key academic calendar milestones
  • Liaise with multiple internal teams to keep processes running efficiently
Student Course Officer Key Skills:
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and dataset comparison
  • Excellent written communication; able to manage a high volume of email queries professionally
  • Organised, proactive and confident handling a busy and varied workload
