We are working with an established construction business to recruit an experienced Bid Writer into their frameworks team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality framework and PSQ submissions across the business. As a Bid Writer, you will collaborate closely with managers and subject matter experts to produce compliant, well-structured submissions aligned to published scoring criteria.
Key Responsibilities
- Write high-quality PSQ, framework and bid responses aligned to scoring criteria
- Collaborate with managers across business units to gather robust evidence
- Develop structured response plans where wider input is required
- Review and edit contributions to ensure consistency, quality and tone
- Coordinate bid clarifications and post-tender queries
- Support framework handovers and ongoing delivery teams
- Maintain a quality-assured library of high-scoring bid responses
- Monitor government policy, legislation and market trends impacting bids
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years' bid writing experience
- Proven experience within the construction sector
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Location & Working Hours
Swindon-based role with hybrid working 40 hours per week (between 7.30am and 5.30pm). Free on-site parking.
