You will provide day-to-day programme and student administration, helping ensure enquiries, records and academic processes are handled accurately and efficiently.

The role will involve regular contact with students and colleagues, alongside shared inbox management and support across assessments, modules and programme activity.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Managing student-facing inboxes, triaging and responding to enquiries and escalating queries where appropriate.
  • Processing mitigating circumstances, module amendments and student registrations.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and updating information as required.
  • Scheduling oral presentations and alternative assessments and investigating results queries.
  • Sending communications and providing helpful in-person support to students and staff.
  • Supporting events, intercollegiate programme administration and wider ad-hoc team requirements.

Temporary Programme Officer - What's on Offer

  • £19.03 per hour plus holiday pay.
  • Immediate start.
  • Approximately two-and-a-half-week temporary assignment.
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Predominantly campus-based, with flexibility to attend up to five days per week when required.

Higher Education programme or student administration experience is essential .

  • Experience managing student enquiries and shared inboxes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach, with confidence taking ownership of tasks.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Friendly and collaborative approach when supporting students and colleagues.
