Signature Recruitment is seeking a Student Administrator to support a Central London higher education institution.
This temporary role pays £18 per hour plus holiday pay and is offered for two months. You will work on a hybrid basis, with three days in the office and two days working from home.
Student Administrator - The Role
You will provide day-to-day administrative support to a busy student services team, handling a high volume of enquiries and helping to ensure records, communications and graduation-related activity are managed accurately.
The role combines student and stakeholder contact with detailed data administration and event support, so you will need to be organised, responsive and comfortable balancing different priorities.
Your responsibilities will include
- Managing high volumes of student and stakeholder enquiries through Outlook.
- Maintaining accurate student records and updating information in a timely manner.
- Working with student data using Excel, Word and SITS.
- Preparing, reviewing and proofreading graduation communications and materials.
- Supporting preparations for both on-campus and off-site graduation ceremonies.
- Providing practical support during graduation events and assisting the wider Student Services Events team during busy periods.

- Previous
Higher Education experience is essential .
- Experience providing administrative support to students or stakeholders.
- Confidence handling high volumes of enquiries and managing communications through Outlook.
- Experience working accurately with student data and records.
- Confidence using Excel, Word and SITS.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when checking records and proofreading communications.
- An organised and flexible approach when supporting busy periods and events.
