Night Auditor, The Rutland Hotel, Edinburgh

Night Auditor Duties

  • Guest Assistance – Providing a warm welcome, handling late check‑ins and early departures, and assisting guests with any inquiries or requests.
  • Security & Safety – Conducting regular patrols of the hotel to ensure guest safety and the security of the premises.
  • Housekeeping & Maintenance – Ensuring public areas are clean and tidy, addressing minor maintenance issues, and reporting larger concerns to management.
  • Reception & Administration – Managing reservations, handling payments, answering calls, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Food & Beverage Service – Preparing and serving light refreshments or room service orders as required.
