Kitchen Porter Duties
- Cleaning & Washing Up – Ensure that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes are cleaned, sanitised, and stored properly, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen.
- Supporting Food Preparation – Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and organising ingredients as required.
- Waste Management – Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling in accordance with company policies, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene are maintained at all times.
- Maintaining Kitchen Organisation – Ensure that kitchen tools, equipment, and ingredients are properly organised and accessible, keeping workstations tidy and fully stocked.
- Health & Safety Compliance – Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards in the kitchen, ensuring safe handling of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and food items.
