General Manager Duties
Operational Management β Oversee the daily operations of the venue, ensuring all departments (front of house, kitchen, bar, etc.) run smoothly and meet quality standards, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Staff Leadership & Development β Lead, manage, and motivate the team, including recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work culture to ensure high staff morale and productivity.
Financial Management β Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and performance analysis, ensuring that the venue meets its revenue targets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability.
Customer Relations & Service Excellence β Ensure a consistently high standard of service is maintained by addressing customer feedback, resolving complaints, and implementing initiatives to enhance the guest experience.
Compliance & Health & Safety β Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, conducting regular checks to maintain a safe and legal operating environment for both staff and customers.
