Hotel Reception Duties
- Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Greet guests upon arrival, check them in efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is recorded, and assist with check-out procedures at the end of their stay.
- Reservations Management: Handle incoming reservation inquiries, update bookings, and manage room availability to ensure efficient use of hotel resources while providing accurate information to guests.
- Guest Services & Requests: Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their stay.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate records, including guest information, payments, and room status. Process payments, issue invoices, and ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Coordination with Hotel Departments: Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and management to ensure guest requests are met and any issues are resolved promptly.
Required Skills
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to interact with guests, team members, and management effectively, ensuring clear and professional exchanges.
- Customer Service Excellence: A friendly, patient, and approachable manner, with the ability to handle guest concerns and complaints with tact and professionalism, ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Organisation & Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, including managing reservations, guest check-ins, and administrative duties, even during busy periods. Use of OneNote, Excel, Online Travel Platforms and OpenTable is an advantage.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail in managing guest information, reservations, and billing, ensuring accuracy and smooth service.
