At Signature Flatbreads, we take pride in crafting great food every day. We’re looking for a proactive and hands‑on Quality Manager to help us maintain the highest standards across our bakery operations on the night shift.
You’ll be the key technical lead on site, supported by QA, QC and Hygiene teams, making sure our products are safe, legal, and consistently high quality. You’ll work closely with operations and engineering to solve problems, drive improvements, and keep the site “audit ready” every day.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead food safety and quality standards in line with BRC and retailer requirements
- Manage QA, QC and Hygiene activities, ensuring strong processes around hygiene, allergens, foreign bodies and pest control
- Oversee product, raw material and environmental testing
- Drive site standards through auditing, issue management and root cause analysis
- Handle customer complaints and ensure effective corrective actions
- Support technical audits and customer visits
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and customers
- Support new product launches from a technical perspective
- Maintain robust traceability and hygiene systems
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 5+ years experience managing Quality in food manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, retailer standards and food law
- Confident leadership and people‑management skills
- A practical, calm and solutions‑focused approach
- Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Bakery experience
- Level 3 Food Safety / HACCP
- Health & Safety knowledge
- Experience managing pest control
