I’m currently working with one of the most forward-thinking, service-driven, and genuinely compelling businesses I’ve encountered. Their NPS score is exceptional, and the internal culture is one where people thrive. They move fast, ask smart questions, challenge convention, and deliver workplace solutions that are driving real, measurable change in employee engagement.
In this role, you will take ownership of re-designing their supply chain operations across short shelf life products. This opportunity, and the business behind it, will motivate and reward you. They stand apart from their competitors in all the right ways, offering a truly distinctive experience. Their culture is built on collaboration, customer focus, and the ambition to craft bold solutions that fuel serious momentum.
Over the past few years, they’ve radically evolved what they’re capable of across operations and service delivery. Innovation is at the core of how they think, and they continue to adapt and grow. As part of this next phase, they’re now looking for a Supply Chain Lead to lead and scale their logistics and fulfilment capability to meet demand and support expansion.
This role will allow you to make your mark – you will be an integral part of their next phase of growth and improving the way the business operates. They’re successful but know they could be more efficient – and they want you to help them get there.
So what does success in this role look like?
- Reimagine the distribution model, lead a complete overhaul of the current, complex distribution chain.
- Challenge existing norms and build a smarter, more effective operation from the ground up.
- Short shelf-life expertise is a must-have; bringing proven experience managing FMCG products with short shelf lives to radically improve supply efficiency and cost control.
- Establish a robust procurement function and processes before transitioning the day-to-day responsibility to the internal procurement team.
- Identify and eliminate inefficiencies across the supply chain to deliver measurable savings and improved service levels.
- Drive operational transformation with confidence - influence stakeholders, challenge legacy systems, and embed a new way of working.
The business needs an expert to lead and drive change; an entrepreneurial character who is excited by the opportunity to make an impact in a successful, growing business. Unafraid to question the status quo and push for bold, transformative change. A strategic thinker who sees the bigger picture, but can dive into the detail when needed to make smart, informed decisions. Brings people with them on the journey — works well across teams and functions to build alignment and momentum. Thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and stays calm and focused when challenges arise. Understands the impact of supply chain decisions on the bottom line and always looks for value-driving opportunities and better ways to get things done.
