Are you a Category Manager ready to step into a role where you can truly shape the future direction of a category, not just report on it? I’m currently partnered with a high-growth, internationally backed FMCG business operating within the chilled and Dairy space. They’ve built a strong presence across grocery, convenience (including Co-op), and wholesale channels, with well-established listings and customer relationships already in place. Now, they’re entering an exciting new phase of growth, and this role will be central to that journey.
This isn’t a “keep things ticking” category role. It’s an opportunity to define and deliver a new category vision, working closely with both internal teams and external customers to unlock the next stage of growth.

What do you need…
- Proven experience within FMCG category management (ideally drinks or adjacent categories)
- Strong understanding of UK retail landscape (grocery + convenience)
- Confident using Nielsen / Kantar / IRI data to build actionable insight
- Someone who can balance data-driven thinking with strong stakeholder engagement
- A proactive, growth mindset and someone who wants to build, influence and make an impact
Why this role
- A business with strong foundations and distribution already in place
- Genuine opportunity to shape category strategy, not just execute it
- High visibility role within a lean, collaborative team
- A brand with real momentum entering its next growth chapter
