About the Role:
We’re hiring a Field Sales Manager in London (West-London), focused on driving growth across the out-of-home (OOH) sector (HORECA/Wholesalers/Distributors) and alongside independent retailers (South-Asian specific), managing a team of 2.
What You'll Do:
- Key focus is managing a team of 2 within the region, supporting them on their development and improving team performance.
- Map out the market in these regions and build long-term partnerships with key customers.
- Help shape the strategy for growing a vibrant, ever-evolving ethnic market with authenticity and insight.
- Play a lead role in launching NPD under household, trusted brands.
- Report to an experienced Senior Sales Leader with a strong track record in team development.
- Lead from the front in a high-impact regional role that’s crucial to the business’s continued success.
- Work for a business with huge market share in the ethnic food space.
- Enjoy a culture of collaboration, internal progression, and bold innovation.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in people management - your role will be predominately people manager alongside some account management of a key customer.
- Energy, charisma and the ability to roll up your sleeves and get down into the nitty gritty of the South-Asian market.
- Experience managing customers in foodservice, wholesale, retail, or FMCG channels (OOH experience is a big plus).
- Strong commercial acumen - a track record of owning and growing a P&L is a bonus!
- Experience working with a diverse range of customer groups - from regional/national wholesalers to independent retailers and end-users.
- A growth mindset and an appetite for launching new products and categories.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning and organisation abilities - you’ll be managing multiple priorities across a regional territory.
- A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly across West London.
