This role targets a senior Marketing professional seeking a Director level position in a nimble, proactive challenger brand with the stability of a larger organization. The business is a Β£25m UK operation backed by a global US parent, offering agility, resource backing, and potential for significant impact. This FMCG brand provides balance with a premium, stand-out identity, ongoing NPD investment, and a growth trajectory as the fastest growing brand in its category in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement innovative and cost-effective marketing strategies to support the business goals
- Drive brand awareness to attract new audiences / shoppers
- Spearhead the development and execution of brand plans, including P&L oversight, to establish a leading premium brand identity
- Collaborate with co-manufacturing partners and the US team to develop and bring to market NPD
- Plan and manage trade events to drive customer and consumer awareness and trial
- Conduct commercial performance analysis (e.g., promotions and category insights)
- Support on customer range reviews with a shopper- and category-first approach
- Work with sales to build customer-tailored support plans for OOH and Retailer initiatives
- Manage a brand manager and external category consultant
What weβre looking for
- You will have at least 5 years of brand management experience, ideally within the food or beverage industry, in a role with line management.
- Experience with challenger brands or medium-size businesses that operate in both OOH and retail is preferred.
- Comfortable using Epos / Circana and Kantar data.
- Strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
