Here at Signature, we have partnered with an awesome SME who are looking for a Senior National Account Manager to come in and grow some of their most important retail and grocery accounts. They’re a purpose-led business that has an amazing story from starting out to where they are now. They have had investment from a big player in the space which has enabled them to grow aggressively and are consistently doubling turnover year on year!
This business has a real family-feel to them. They are very collaborative, where everyone digs in and helps each other out on a day-to-day basis! This is a real ‘roll your sleeves up’ environment and if doing that extra bit isn’t for you, you won’t be for them either!
They have recently expanded into a new category, which has just gone live in a major grocer (that you will manage), a very exciting time for them! They are looking for this person to become their Head of Sales in the next 2 years; it’s down to you to make it happen! You will take management of a National Account Executive who will support you day to day, alongside working with one of the best Sales Directors in FMCG, you will really learn a lot from them!
With more investment landing soon, this will be invested into the team and you could be leading a team of 4 next year!
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years’ experience within Retail/Grocery customers
- Curious character and eagerness to learn
- Exceptional people & communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen
- Good work ethic – a real go-getter!
- Exposure to a start-up/SME environment (or wanting to get into an SME)
Main responsibilities include:
- Manage 3-4 key grocery customers
- People management – a National Account Executive
- Setting strong JBPs with all customers
- Own your development to Head of Sales – as early as 6-12 months!
They are Central London based, with a minimum of 2 days a week in office.
