About the Role
Sitting within the Marketing team, you’ll be the go-to expert for category insight and strategy, supporting the UK’s No.1 in a competitive, fast-moving market. Your mission will be to identify opportunities and risks across the category, help secure new listings, and champion innovation launches across top grocers.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to build persuasive trade stories and support major retailer partnerships (Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, etc.). This is a hands-on, insight-led role, ideal for someone who thrives on data and storytelling in equal measure.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of category strategies to grow sales and market share.
- Analyse and interpret data from Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby, and retailer portals to uncover insights and influence decisions.
- Support the Sales team with proposals, range reviews, and presentations to retailers.
- Identify category opportunities, mitigate risks, and track brand performance.
- Build and deliver compelling retailer stories to gain new listings and maintain distribution.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Supply Chain to align innovation, forecasting, and availability.
