So, what’s the role all about?
You’ll be working closely with Tesco to build a partnership; using your category expertise, commercial understanding and ability to influence to identify opportunities and drive growth.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Developing and delivering customer-specific category strategies.
- Creating impactful activation plans across merchandising, promotions and key initiatives.
- Using insight and analysis to identify opportunities and solve category challenges.
- Building compelling category stories that influence retailer decisions and unlock growth.
It’s a role where you can genuinely shape the agenda, build strong customer relationships and make your mark on a flagship account. You'll be working with an established portfolio of market-leading brands, so success comes from understanding the shopper, knowing your customer and finding smart ways to drive growth.
What are we looking for?

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- Category Management experience within FMCG or Consumer Goods, working with major grocery retailers. Top 4 experience is ideal, with Top 2 a bonus.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to influence at customer level.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to deliver under pressure.
