Demand Planning Analyst | Food company | North West | £45,000–£50,000 plus 10% bonus
Do you enjoy getting behind the numbers to understand what customers are really likely to buy? Are you confident working with the sales team to turn that insight into a forecast they can act on?
I’m working with a growing food business in the North West that’s looking for a Demand Planning Analyst. Culture is king in this business and the leadership team truly believe in team work and team voice. If you don’t enjoy working there, they wouldn’t want you working there. Collaborative, supportive, entrepreneurial, values-led, fast paced. I could keep throwing adjectives at you, but the simplest way to describe the culture is this: good people, working hard, helping each other, and enjoying the journey along the way.
With growth comes change and this is an opportunity to make your mark and an opportunity to shape this businesses future. It's an opportunity to take ownership, improve how the business plans for demand, and embed best-in-class forecasting processes that support growth and operational excellence.
What you’ll be doing:
- Building and updating forecasts using sales trends, customer plans, promotions and seasonal demand.
- Analysing data to spot changes in demand, risks and opportunities.
- Working closely with Sales, Procurement and Operations to align plans and support product availability.
- Tracking forecast accuracy and finding ways to improve planning processes.
- Supporting the planning of new product launches.
What we’re looking for:
You’ll have experience in demand planning, forecasting or a similar analytical role within food or FMCG. You’ll be comfortable with Excel and large data sets, able to explain your findings clearly and confident asking questions when the numbers tell a different story.
This is a five-day-a week, office-based role. The salary is £45,000–£50,000 with genuine scope for career progression.
