Based at our Blackhorse Road brewery in East London, this role is responsible for keeping Signature Brew's beer flowing wherever customers encounter the brand. Working across our growing network of pubs, bars, venues and retail sites, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance and optimisation of beer dispense systems, cellar equipment and associated infrastructure. You'll also support the upkeep of our own venues, events equipment and wider estate, helping ensure everything from a single keg line to a major festival setup operates flawlessly. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys solving problems, working independently and taking pride in delivering great service.

One day you might be installing new dispense equipment at a flagship account, the next supporting a major event, carrying out preventative maintenance in one of our venues, or helping improve the quality and reliability of our dispense operation across London. We're looking for someone who wants to be part of one of the UK's most ambitious independent breweries, helping us deliver exceptional beer experiences everywhere the Signature Brew brand appears.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install, maintain and troubleshoot beer dispense systems, cellar equipment and gas installations across Signature Brew customer accounts.
  • Carry out routine preventative maintenance to maximise beer quality, equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Respond quickly and effectively to technical issues, minimising downtime and ensuring customers receive excellent support.
  • Support the setup of new customer accounts, including dispense systems, cooling equipment, branded assets and cellar infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular quality audits to ensure Signature Brew beer is being stored, handled and served to the highest standards.
  • Deliver cellar management, line cleaning and dispense quality training to customers and venue teams where required.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to support new business wins, customer retention and best-in-class service.
  • Assist with the setup, operation and maintenance of dispense equipment at festivals, events and brand activations.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, service visits, maintenance schedules and equipment stock.
  • Manage spare parts, consumables and technical inventory to ensure equipment and materials are available when needed.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with relevant health, safety and industry standards.
  • Act as an ambassador for Signature Brew, building strong relationships with customers and helping deliver exceptional experiences wherever our beer is sold.
FACILITIES & SITE MAINTENANCE
  • Carry out general maintenance and repair work across Signature Brew sites, including basic plumbing, decorating, carpentry and facilities upkeep.
  • Support the maintenance of bars, cold rooms, storage areas and other operational infrastructure.
  • Identify, report and help resolve maintenance issues before they become operational problems.
  • Liaise with external contractors and suppliers where specialist repairs or servicing are required.
  • Support improvement projects across Signature Brew's brewery, venues and wider operations.
DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Previous experience installing, maintaining or troubleshooting beer dispense systems.
  • Knowledge of cellar management, line cleaning and beer quality best practice.
  • Experience working within brewing, hospitality, drinks, facilities management or a related technical field.
  • Practical maintenance skills including basic plumbing, carpentry, decorating and general repairs.
  • Confidence using hand and power tools and carrying out hands‑on technical work.
  • Experience diagnosing and resolving faults in a customer‑facing environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer‑first approach.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
  • Understanding of gas systems, cellar cooling equipment or refrigeration systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety requirements relevant to hospitality and technical services.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Personal Licence, BIIAB Cellar Management qualification or equivalent industry qualifications would be advantageous.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
  • A practical problem solver who enjoys finding solutions rather than identifying problems.
  • Someone who takes pride in doing things properly and leaving every job better than they found it.
  • A self‑starter who can work independently whilst remaining a strong team player.
  • Someone who enjoys building relationships and representing the Signature Brew brand in the trade.
  • Flexible, adaptable and comfortable with the variety that comes from working in a fast‑growing independent business.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for great beer, hospitality and the role independent breweries play in their communities.
