The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

As Customer Operations Officer you will help coordinate the smooth running of our Airport base which includes liaising with aircraft operators, travel organizers, the airport authority, third-party suppliers, air crew, passengers and relevant authorities to co-ordinate the arrival and departure of our clients’ aircraft at the airport.

You will be the face of the business providing world class service to our customers, ensuring a smooth transition through our facility whilst safely delivering ground services to our customers’ aircraft.

Main Duties:

  • Assist the day to day operations of the base.

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all passengers, visitors and crew visiting the location.

  • Carry out ramp services as required for the operation (this will include services such as marshalling, towing, pushback, headset, toilet, water, fuel, baggage on load/offload, GPU, steps) as directed by the customer and supervisor.

  • Liaise with customers and provide information relevant to flight requirements.

  • Assist customers and suppliers with their invoicing queries and pro-actively look to cross check invoices to ensure accurate billing.

  • Assist the security team in preparing the screening of passengers and luggage

  • Guarantee the correct level of supplies such as tea, coffee, soft drinks and biscuits within VIP lounge areas are upheld and ensure the highest level of cleanliness and presentation of all VIP areas.

  • Previous experience within aviation in a similar role

  • Brilliant at managing schedules

  • Ability to work accurately under pressure in an operational environment

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Understanding of VIP customer expectations and proven anticipation of needs

  • Flexibility of start and finish times within the shift pattern

  • Willingness to learn new skills, with full training provided

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Qualifies to hold a full airport ID

  • Understanding of customs and immigration formalities

  • IT Literate and proficiency in using Microsoft Office programmes – Word, Excel, Outlook etc, with the ability to be trained on business-specific systems

  • Valid and clean driving licence

  • Serious about safety

  • Additional languages are desirable but not essential
